    Frustrated Footballer

    All those that go training

  7. Most memorable moment since refereeing?
    Refereeing both the Hunts Senior Cup Final in 2003 and the PFA Senior Cup final in 1999

  8. What is the funniest moment in any of your games?
    Anyone that knows me will realise that there are too many to mention both on and off the field!

  9. What is the worst or frustrating moment in any of your games?
    Coming up against any player who slags off referees but has no knowledge of the Laws of the game and has no intention of learning them.

  10. What ambitions do you have whether refereeing or having given up the whistle...
    In one year?
    Not to get kicked off the level I am at due to poor marks

    In five years?
    Still to be at Level 4 and fit enough to do it

    In ten years?
    To be alive!

  11. Before each game you officiate on, what aims do you have?
    To have a good game, keep everyone on the pitch and get good club marks (I am a creep!)

  12. What most frustrates you on the field?
    Poor players who think they are better than they actually are and moaning players who haven't got a clue about the laws of the game

  13. What pleases you most on the field?
    Players who talk to you and respond to what you are trying to do

  14. What one change, if any, would you like to see in today’s game?
    A fairer share of how money is dished out across the board and more money for Officials at local level

  15. Is there any one piece of advice you would give to anyone considering taking up the whistle?
    Be confident and don't give up after a poor game when it's all gone pear-shaped. It happens to everyone.

  16. Is there any one piece of advice you would give to another referee?
    Remember, it's only a game

  17. Hobbies & Interests outside of football?
    Manager of my son's Junior Football side.

  18. Who is your favourite footballer of all time?
    Niall Quinn and any other footballer to represent the Republic of Ireland
