Forecast Competition

The Huntingdonshire Forecast Competition is now in it's third season and is run by Paul Barnes.

The concept is as follows:

Each week, registered players are asked to forecast two games from the English Premier League, Football League, Internationals or FA Competitions.  They have to predict the result i.e. Home Win (H), Away Win (A) or Draw (D) and also the score.  2 points are awarded for the correct result, 4 points for the correct score and a bonus of 5 points if both games are forecast 100% correctly.

Season 2009/10 - Premier League Winner - Tracey Lazenby

Season 2010/11 - Premier League Winner - Steve Howley - Championship Winner - Gary Wilson

Membership for 2012-2013 is due now!

If you are interested in Joining the Referees' Association, please used the attached form.

Membership of the RA can offer you a great deal.  From the local level, you have the opportunity to attend meetings with Guest Speakers and In-House Training and to meeting with colleagues refereeing at all levels to discuss games and issues.  From the National Level, you have the opportunity to get physio care for a very small annual fee.  If you have any questions regarding membership, please contact any Committee Member.

Please note: Members not re-registered by 31st May 2012 will not be covered by the RA Group Personal Accident Insurance scheme until their registration is received at Head Office.
